As I stated yesterday I'm making some changes here at Brokedown Palace. I guess the most aparent change is the site layout. I've redesigned the layout to use iFrames and keep the majority of the site on one screen. That is, if you're using a normal screen resolution. This should make navigation easier and make the site appear 'tighter' so to speak.
Now I'm not one to really plug products, but in my testing the site looks the best with Mozilla's Firefox browser. Firefox is a free browser that's made for any operating system -- so no matter if you're running Windows, MacOS, or Unix you can get it for your computer. Other reasons to use Firefox is that it protects highly against web-based spyware which unfortunately Internet Explorer is quite prone to. Anyway, off my soap box.
Along with the site redesign, I plan on rewriting my photo gallery to fit in the new design. I plan on eliminating popup windows completely while still allowing easy access to all of the site. For the time being the photo gallery wont be available.
On the backend I've updgraded from Movable Type 2.661 to 3.12. Though recently I read that Moveable Type 3.14 has been released. I may upgrade to that version soon.
I'll keep updating as I make progress with everything. If you find that something doesn't work how you think it should, or loads in the wrong place, or even doesn't look like it fits right where it is, please let me know.
